BIO
I’m a freelance Flame artist based in NYC. I started freelancing in early 2001. I began my post career interning at Nickelodeon while I was at St. John’s University. Remember all those Nick at Nite promos in the Nineties? I was the one that would find all those awesome soundbites. After graduation, I worked at Caesar Video Graphics, first as a dubber then assistant editor and motion control operator. I then moved to Click3X-NY, where I learned the Flame. We were a beta site for Discreet Logic (now Autodesk). Many long hours but we were committed to the success of the software. The company grew and Flame became the industry standard. I moved over to Spontaneous (now LVLY). The band I was in at that time was going to start touring so I felt I couldn’t commit to full-time on staff… hence the freelance route. Since then, I’ve had the good fortune to find steady work and creative fulfillment in the NYC visual effects community, working and learning alongside talented artists, designers and producers. Here’s a few places I’ve worked at along the way: Union Editorial, Manic (Poetica), Version2, Consulate, Spontaneous, Click3X, Nice Shoes, Psyop, Brickyard (Boston), Riot, Guava, Pure, Plus et Plus, Design Lab (Bdwy Video), Postworks, Black Logic, Artjail, The Artery, etc.
I’m available for remote work as well…from my home system.
